  • Intervertebral Disc Injury / Sciatic Pain

    A disc injury, also commonly referred to as a slipped disc, occurs when the soft inner core of an intervertebral disc protrudes through the tough outer layer. Intervertebral discs are located between the vertebrae of the spine and act as cushions, providing flexibility and shock absorption. Symptoms include pain and numbness in the low back and legs. in more extreme cases, there can be weakness in the affected area.

  • Sprains and Strains

    Sprains are tearing of the ligaments surrounding a joint where a strain is tearing of a muscle at the tendon (fibrous tissue connecting muscle to bone). Sprains and strains can be caused when subjected to an unguarded movement or loading a joint past its limit.

  • Neck Pain

    As technology becomes more common in our society, neck pain and stiffness is becoming more prevalent. Neck pain is discomfort caused by poor postures, muscle tension, or previous injury. neck pain can be accompanied by headaches, limited range of motion and radiating pain down the shoulder or arm.

  • Back Pain

    According to the World Health Organization (WHO), low back pain is affects 620 million people around the globe with that number expected to increase. Low back pain can be experienced at any age and the risk for reoccurrence increases if not properly taken care of. Chiropractic care and rehabilitation is the greatest benefit to help remedy low back pain.

  • Headaches

    Headaches are estimated to affect 2 out of 3 adults in the United States. Symptoms can range from pain or discomfort in the upper neck or head that can cause a sensitivity to light or sounds commonly aggravated by stress, poor sleep or poor posture.

  • Vertigo

    Vertigo is a sensation of spinning or dizziness, often described as a feeling of imbalance or being off-balance. It is not a specific medical condition but rather a symptom that can be associated with underlying causes. The perception of movement when there is none or an exaggerated sense of motion is common in vertigo. Two common sources of vertigo-like symptoms stem from the upper neck and the inner ear.

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

    Characterized by compression of a nerve along the arm and forearm, leading to numbness and tingling in the hand and commonly the first 3 fingers. Carpal tunnel Syndrome is most common at night but can be aggravated though long periods of typing, writing or the use of hand tools.

  • Whiplash

    Whiplash is when the head moves forward and backwards with great force injuring the many joints, muscles, and ligaments in the neck commonly caused by car accidents or contact sports. Common symptoms include neck stiffness, headaches, and dizziness. In more severe whiplash injuries, additional imaging like an x-ray or MRI are needed to assess the extent of damage.

  • Joint Pain

    As we age, joint pain becomes increasingly more common with 73% of adults over 55 diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Joint pain refers to discomfort, soreness, or inflammation localized in the areas where two or more bones meet, typically caused by factors such as injury, arthritis, inflammation, overuse, or underlying medical conditions. Joint pain can result in stiffness, swelling, and pain.

  • Migraines

    With more than 11% of Americans who experience migraines, they are more intense headaches that can be debilitating if you suffer from them. Pounding pain in the head and episodes of intense nausea and vomiting are some of the symptoms Migraines can create lasting up to 72 hours.
